The World Atlas of Languages relies on the information provided by the Focal Point(s) appointed by UNESCO’s Member States. These languages in country profiles are built on information collected and collated by Focal Points from different governmental and public institutions, national departments of statistics, Language Commissions, and higher educational organizations.
