Bassari-Tanda in Ghana
Size
Bassari belongs to the Oti-Volta group of languages in northern Ghana. It is part of the group of languages classified as "Gurma", which include Konkomba/Likpakpaln and Bimoba. Bassari is spoken in an area east of Zabzugu near the Ghana-Togo border. Bassari speakers are a smaller group compared with the Konkomba (Likpakpaln) and the Bimoba. There are immigrant communities of Bassari further south around Bimbila.
